Role: Project LeadKey responsibilities are participation in gathering of business requirements, study of legacy systems, carry out a suitable data model for Data mart or Data warehouse, prepare technical design/specifications, creating prototypes, maintain the DW for producing accurate results and take care of performance issues, provide technical/user documentation and training, perform peer reviews of work items produced at various stages of the project Participate in initial estimation & planning stages Manage a team and partnering with client teams. Must be able to effectively manage a team of 2-3 members Participate in project review meetings Adhere to the client or project specific quality and documentation standards as part of project execution
Skills :Must have knowledge of Microsoft Integration services or Analysis services or Reporting services Strong DW concepts & methodologies Must have managed / worked in a team of 2-3 technical consultants Must have creativity, innovation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have good communication skills Must be a self-starter willing to tackle new and challenging problems Excellent problem solving and team building skills a must. Must have exposure and appreciation to software engineering methodologies Must be good at planning the given set of tasks and report status periodically in a formal way Exposure to multiple to databases and DW tools is an added advantage
Experience:Must have experience in working in Microsoft Integration services or Analysis services or Reporting services Minimum of 4 + yrs of IT experience including 2+ years of BI technology experience Experience in participating in the development of at least 1 large BI project
