Senior Consultant

As a senior member of the organization, the expectations from a Sr Consultant are:

To provide leadership and, as an active member of the management team, to participate in decision making; accepting personal accountability for the project/programs assigned to you.
To be involved in creating implementation road maps, project estimates and proposals
To be involved in providing consulting the clients for architecting a BI solution and implementing it as per the client's requirement.
To accept operational control of, and accountability for, the successful completion of each Project implementation stage to the scope, time, cost and quality criteria agreed with the management team and detailed in the various Project plans.
To be responsible for the management and development of your team.

Good all round Project Management skills Good Business and Technical Consulting skills. Good communication, presentation and business engagement skills. Should have experience working directly with customers in a consulting or services role and be comfortable in all forms of communication. Hands-on experience guiding a BI project life cycle required.
Ability to lead a data warehousing technical team
Has in depth knowledge of data warehousing technologies and implementations
Well versed with BI and DW concepts and good knowledge of BI and DW architectures
Familiarity with BI and DW industry best practices
Good Knowledge of leading BI and DW toolsets
Experience with Microsoft BI suite will be a plus.

Minimum of 8 + yrs of IT experience including 5+ years of BI technology experience with a BE/B Tech/MCA
Experience in independently managing, or Architecting solutions for, at least 2 large BI projects
Experience of drawing out implementation road maps, project estimation, proposal preparation
Experience in carrying out BI and DW infrastructure assessment
Experience of evaluating BI and DW architectures and recommending best fit architectures, tools etc
